Do I need to replace the whole mechanism?

Length is 34 inches; Stamp 3330 BS1 NN (see photo); Unknown manufacturer, installed around 2001; Two balances are needed

Do you have a replacement for this? The windows are aluminum with a GA on the locks. The exposed portion of the strip is just under 1/4 in thick by 1/2 inch wide. Ive removed similar windows that were vinyl, but the existing on these is very brittle so I am afraid it won't hold up on reinstall. ... (cont.)

Need to know the series so that I can order replacements. I have several different lengths for a handful of windows. Also, do you need to lubricate these as they age?

It looks like 15-046 will work for my windows but I see no way to get them in the channel. Any suggestions?

See the attached pictures. There are no name markings on the patio door, but it was installed in 2004. The bead is so close to several of your products. I am not in a rush. Would it help if I mailed you a small sample for comparison?

There's one of these on both sides of the window that I believe holds in the balance spring on each side and one of them is broken so it is causing the window to be shaky and not hold the balance well.
