This is a sliding latch for metal window. Opposite one missing Keeps window on track

No identification of any kind. My dogs pulled the spring out of the top of it. This allowed the two metal rods to drop into the two holes that are directly under the rods. I have an older Trapp storm door with a broken lever handle. I could not find any part numbers on the door or lockset. The lockset is 8 1/2" total length, and 1 1/4" wide. Just bought your 70-211 screen turn clips to replace the ones shown here that have now completely disintegrated from age. I can't figure out how to get the old broken pieces out and the new pieces in without damaging the screen frame. Do you have any suggestions?
