You can see the black part is broken, it holds the top of the slide secure when raising/lowering the window. Not sure your part number. Have several windows so should buy several of these. Thanks.

We had Fiberlux replacement windows installed. They worked fine for a while, but now the top windows sometime slide down. I can't figure how to tighten them. They have a long plastic piece on the uppers with a long cork-screw type apparatus along the lowers. How do I adjust this? ... (cont.)

I am searching for a heavy duty, secure, exterior, keyed lock for an Anderson sliding door. I need one (two would be better, a spare) of these handles because the hex head (5/16") snapped off on one of them. We're using the one remaining to open/close both side panels of our bay window. I need 2 replacement Andersen window balancers like the one in the picture. The part number stamped on the defective unit may not be very clear but it is D47 8P31 277. The units are used in a window with 2 - 28 by 28 inch glass panels.

I can't think of another name for this item except to say it is spring loaded inside the frame and is a pull pin. The thing comes from an old Pella screen for a convertible storm door.

No visible markings, could be rusted over.
