From the photo it looks as if the 78-175 Tomray Tyco 66 window roller is what I need. My question is--is the axle that the roller is mounted upon made of plastic?

Looking to replace either whole roller assembly, or just the rollers on a (possibly Viking?) vinyl-clad aluminum sliding screen door. The nylon or delrin roller axle nub has worn down (see pic). Axle length is 0.47", diam is 0.25"; roller OD is 0.92" (worn measurement!). I can pop the roller out ... (cont.)

On the part detail the hole centers are 8.5". Can you tell me how far the installed handle will protrude from the mounting surface (door frame)? I have 1.5" from the door frame to the screen door.
