The Tilt latch I need looks exactly like that. I have had the hardest time trying to find it, and I contacted them and they said to do this. hopefully I can get something out from doing this. I don't know the year of the window, or have anything more than this.

Balance cord/cable that holds the sash in the up position broken hardware? Broken cable? Not sure which but lower sash will not stay in the up position.
