clips are white plastic ,small split post appearance with projection to hold sreen probably 20 yrs old.no model # seen .2 fans

Window will not stay open and the sash balance looks like this on both sides. I believe the coil is broken. I can't find any replacements that look like this nor information on how to replace this style. I added photo from top of sash as well.
