What is the diameter of the pull ring in the portion of the pull ring that latches over the hardware head for 70-004? I need replacement clips for my window screens

AS far as I can tell these clips 70-048 are the right size the Measurement is about 1.56 inches that compares with 1 9/16 I saw in another post. My only question is if I order about 30 and they don't fit can I return them? Thanks Don

I have to replace 7 windows' worth of of Malta screen latches. the old ones held up for maybe 20 years. How durable are the 70-048s and are they malleable enough or is just personal preference? (Do they work or not? :) ) I don't want to replace them only to find out I'll have to do it again in 10 ... (cont.)
