82-043 Andersen Tribeca Thumb Latch Replacement

I have 2 of these Andersen sliding doors, circa 1983. The inside mechanism will not turn to lock the door. A friend removed the lock and it is frozen. Do you have replacement parts?

Here is a pict of the part, the # is C-7442-3 or 5, I can't read the last number, I also submitted the same info without the pict.

I want to replace my thumb latch with part number 2573516. its about 2.5 inches between screws. Thanks

I recently bought the Andersen Tribeca Thumb Latch Replacement Product Code: 82-043 - I installed the thumb latch and discovered the catch/receiver was just a flimsy strike plate and wasn't adequate for properly locking the door -- there was no original receiver in the door jamb when home w ... The broken latch has "C-7442-5" molded on its' underside. The door handle screws are 2.5" measured center to center. Hope you can identify the replacement part based on these photos and description. Thanks Ralph

Looking for a replacement latch for this Anderson Window door. I'm not sure model of door, house was built in 1994 and I would assume it's the original door.

Why does the latch handle keep breaking off replaced it three times already

The Lock handle broke off. The only name I can see stamped is A/W on the frame latch, it reads 2573558 and 7700-14. There is no number on the lock handle itself? Our thumb latch broke and our contractor replaced it with a thumb latch that points up and to the right. The contractor threw the old latch away. Attached is a picture of a lock for a circa 1997, 6ft sliding door that I need to get a replacement for.

I need on of these ASAP

3 of the 4 1 3/4" screws that hold each of the units (lock and receiver) into the doors are stripped. i.e. I need those also. the lock unit is going to have to have the screw cut to get it out so I can't do that until I have a replacement. Please find pictures attached of thumb lock to be replaced. From the top of the thumb plate, picture 1 & 2, it is 3". From screw to screw it is 2 1/2". Numbers on back of thumb plate, see picture are, S2573553 & W2574554. Numbers on lock set are 2573558 & 7700-14, see picture I have ordered ... (cont.)

Hi, Could you look at the images I uploaded and tell me if you make a keyed lock I could install on exterior of door that either works with existing interior latch, or I could replace both? The door closes to the left when looking at it from the outside. Thanks Jared

Hi, I believe my 2-panel Andersen patio slider was installed in the late '90s. The thumb lever is broken. The screw holes measure what looks like 2 17/32", or very close to it. The color is like clay, possibly stone? Is the 82-043 the correct part to use? Thanks!
