I need to replace my sliding glass patio door handle. I believe I need a Mortise Lock and Keeper - keyed, but I am unsure what the difference between an "A position" lock and a "B position" lock. Could you please tell me what part I need to order. Thanks so much!

Hi! I just installed the 82-086 : Legacy Keyed Handle Set, 3-15/16" (1-1/8" to 2-1/2". However it now seems like the Mortise lock needs replaced. Can you please advise as to which one I need. I will attach the pictures. Thanks so much!Christine

Looks like part # 12589 A 0r 2957-2000. I am trying to replace this door lock with a door lock and key.

I am trying to identify if one of your mortise locks will work for my MI Windows & Doors Sliding Glass Door. I have attached photos. I know it needs a 45 degree latch and I bought a supposed universal one that would not work as the pin on the lever was just a little too thick.
