Bought an old house, restoring the sliding doors. Replaced all door handles with 82-055 which worked great, except that the included catches are too shallow. Hi I purchased a Patio Door Keeper, 1/2" Wide from Swisco a while back. (89-007) When I installed it, the lock on the door got stuck on the keeper. I could not move the lock to open the door. Have an interesting problem. My sliding glass door does not have a strike plate so I have to keep my door closed with a piece of wood. The name on the outside handle reads Acorn DorWal. Hello, I bought a 82-003 handle/latch. It fits great and everything works fine. However I would like a key type lock instead will this work 82-261 ? my door is 1 inch thick. does it come in any other color, would prefer darker color to match door. Thank you, Jim

Door latch does not engage to keeper to lock door. Leaver does not rotate completely to lock door the latch is not log enough. Please helppp.
