I have single hung windows. 28 inch long balances, half inch wide. Stamped 2 7 3 0 (backward C) BSI. There have never been take out clips. See photos of window frame. My window balance is labeled 27 4 Caldwell. It is 28 in long and 1/2 in wide. From looking at your site I think it is a s350 but I don't understand the 27 4 as a tension option

Hello, I am looking to replace both window balances an a no tilt window. The balance is 28in and has markings of 2730 BSI PM. My window is non-tilt sliding, the 1/2 inch balance measures 28 inches metal end to metal end. It has a 1 1/4 inch non-winged tip (top) and a 1 inch winged bottom end. The balance has stamped on it: 27 4 KQ CALDWELL Do you have a compatible replacement ?

The part is 28" long the stamp on the part is 2790 and 30 there's also a an AG and 8.51 stamped between the 2790 and 30. I don't know the weight of the sash I'm hoping one of the numbers in the stamp would denote the weight. Both balances are destroyed and it appears the take out tabs are missing ... (cont.)
