I have 2 windows with spiral balances 1 34", 1 20" Both have yellow tips but you only offer yellow tips in the 34" The smaller window weighs 14lbs. Does it matter which tip (red or blue) I buy as a replacement?

looks like my old balance is 3/8" and the tube is 19 3/8 long (not including blue tip). Can I go with a new balance that's 19" - I don't see any half inch sizes.

Good afternoon! I would like to replace qty 2 spiral balances for a tilt window. The diameter measures 3/8". The tip is blue. As shown in the attached pictures, the length measures 19 1/2"; I measured both balances to confirm. Which size should I go with? Also, I am replacing everyth ... (cont.)

Hello, I am just trying to get to know my windows. How do I get to the spiral to measure the correct length? I think the diameter is 3/8ths. Also, do you have directions on how to replace the spirals and charge them? Thank-you, Cheryl B.

Do these need to be lubricated periodically? If so, what should be used?
