One of my window sashes doesn't stay in place and keeps sliding down. These windows were replaced before I got the place and have no markings for the manufacturer or the coil mechanism. Hello, Can you please help me identify the correct replacement for what looks like a tanden balance (shown in photo). The broken coils are marked "4FC" and "5FC" (shown in photo). The coils are 15/32" wide. Can I replace this with one Series 161 9 lb single spring on each side, or do I need to re ... (cont.)

We are looking for the right double roller-tilt balance for a customer. The top metal band has a large "4" and then "31T" imprinted on the top coil. The bottom coil seems to have a big "5" and then "26T" printed on it.

The shoe measures 3 3/4" long when together 1 1/2 inch width Depth 1/2 inch I need both pieces and the bracket they it attaches to. 2 1/4 lower 1 1/2 upper

Need part id for this. Has pat# 5.353.548. Approx 4" tall 1" wide. Tension seems to work ok, but upper housing broken. Also I don't see cut out to remove. Good Afternoon, I ordered 15-087, 15-086, 16-024, 26-089, and S180 Coils with 33-072 Screw. Are there full installation instructions on how to get both Coils and parts in the jamb? Is ther a trick to getting both Coils on the Bracket? Thank you very much!

Hi there, this window became very difficult to open. I believe the coil balance busted on both sides? I've included label pics and I saw a 6lb mark on the shoe thing. Can you tell exactly what parts I need? Thanks!

Coil springs in no-name vinyl window stopped working; window won't stay up. They are visible ouside of the enclosure on both sides, unlike other working widows in the house. Need a replacment for the sash guide. markings on the piece are: PAT: 5.353.548 on the window guide that the metal rod goes into has the number 2 on it. It is a two part piece. pictures has the measurements but Length- from long point to long point of teeth- 4" width- 2 3/16" depth- 9/16" ... (cont.)

There is a hook where two spring is attached and is under constant tension . The number on these two balance is 6 and 5 on each side of window. I do not see a part # but I found a couple #'s on the broken springs. One shows a 5 the other shows a 6. I am looking for the entire part including the housing and tilt mechanism. Thanx for this site!

Window is 43: x 60" Looking to relpace broken spring

I have a window where both coil balances assemblies are broken. One of the mounting brackets are missing and both tilt latches are not functional. The only number I see on the removable coil is JD8 and see PAT 5,353,548.
