I removed my anderson sash balance and it is a 727. The Swisco shows it can be replaced with a 24-737. My sash balance does not have a tab at the end, the picture of the Swisco replacement does. Can the replacement be ordered without the tab or will I install the new one with a tab? ... (cont.)

I'm replacing the sashes on a double hung Anderson window. The visible glass size on each window is 24.5" wide by 22" tall. The current sash balance is marked H19 725, and 11600-17. I am having trouble determining which is the correct replacement part. Colin

I have pulled out an Andersen sash balance and the only markings I can make are: C6 space 7 space 27 space -106. Not completely sure about the -106 Glass size fits that of a 2846 unit. The window may date to the '60's What sash balance do you recommend? Thanks for your help.

Hi, I need to replace an Andersen double-hung window balance. The lower sash visible glass dimensions are 36 1/2" wide by 16" high. There are numbers on the balance box but are very poorly stamped.
