I must replace a sash balance for the 39" wide center window of a bay. Part numbers on the "bad" unit (broken string) are 11600-17 and S19 1027 (date code 6-88). I disassembled one side of the guide tracks to get this.What replacement part do you recommend?Thank you for your time.Mark ... (cont.)

Having issues with some older Anderson windows. I reclaimed them a couple yrs ago, and have just installed in a lew locaton. It seems like the sash cords on all of them are too tight (perhaps from age) so that I have to force them downt o close all the way. Not ideal. Thinking new sash balances ma ... (cont.)

The number stamped on the balance is BF8 10#31 2-87 and also has the number 11600-17. Looking for replacement part number. Thanks.

On the balance the only marking are S19-1027-6-88 on one side. Also 11600-17 on staple end of balance. on up side are 336-5455. I beleive a patent number. A U.S. patent Number .11600-3. Would have sent pictures but number were hardly seen. measures 6 3/4 by 3 inches 3 inch wide.

The numbers stamped at the end of the balance are 1031 S50 499.

Hello. It looks like the two balancers I have in one window are different. One is stapled in with 1027 stamped on it. The other is screwed in with 637 stamped on it. Just wanted to check if this is ok. Am wondering if one was replaced at some point before we bought the home and wrong balancer was as ... (cont.)
