Hello, Does this also come with the latch or do I have to buy that separately?

We have a patio door by Empire Pacific installed in 2004. The interior handle plate broke. We have not been able to find a replacement that will fit. Can you help?

It must be this exact lock. I have tried others and they have not worked without shims or deeper keeper. I would prefer to just replace the lock. Thank you, Cathy

I purchased the mortise lock (item 82-243) in this pic. (below) but the latch itself doesn't seem to extend as far as my original lock (above) so it doesn't catch the strike. All other dimensions seem the same. Is there a different model I should be using instead?
