S385-21 21" Series 385 Channel Balance

I have a 36" x 45" MilGuard sash window with a failed sash balance. I have removed the balance. The stamp is: 20 4 JQ CALDWELL. I think I need the S385-21 Option 2040. Please verify.

Please inform which part number I should use from the photos. This is for a Milgard vinyl window. Note, it appears from your website this should be a Series 380 or 385 part. Hi, Would you please help me identify and order the correct channel balance? The number on the balance is 20-4 FE5 CMC 75. It measures 1/2" wide and 21" long. The top measures 11/16" 1/2". I think the shoe measures 1/2", 15/16", and 1 1/16". Thank you.

The windows I believe are Aluminum and either were installed around 1987, when house was built or 1999 ( I saw that date on some of the windows), which could be just the window panes changed and not necessarily the whole windows themselves The balancers are of two lengths 18" has a side stamp (17 ... I need to replace some window balances which appear to be series 380 (w/#19-005 bottom clip) or 385 (w/#19-004 bottom clip) but your website depicts these clips identically. I have a couple of window balances to replace. The metal portion is 21 inches long, not including the plastic ends. The metal portion is 0.5" wide by 0.625" deep. The stamp reads "20 5 IW CMC 7". Thanks for posting! Before I can offer an applicable replacement for this channel balance, I just need to know a bit more information about the bottom attachment. Please take a look at our 15-004 and 15-005 channel balance shoes, and note their depths. As you can see, they are 1-3/32" deep and 1" de ... (cont.)

All dimensions match the standard channel balance, but my balance is stamped 2090 27. Which one do I order?

My balance seems to match your 385-21. It has "20S 28" stamped on it. What should I order? Pete
