S385-27 27" Series 385 Channel Balance

I originally chose the 27" 350 series channel balances for this, but want to make sure that this is the correct product for my application before purchasing.

Hello, both of the S385-27" (2640) balances that I purchased in March of 2012 have broken again. I think its just the string. Can that be replaced? If so is there instruction on how to do this? Is there something more heavy duty S385-27

Please recommend replacement part

I want to verify the correct parts to order. The window is Kimro, the channel is 27" long, there is a number 26 4 on the channel. Also, some of the metal clips are broken. Thank you very much for any help you can provide.

Hi, Not sure what replacement part I need. I have several broken ones throughout my home. Width is 1/2" and length of the meatal part only is 27". I have included photos of the part. and ends. The markings I could find on the item is 26 4 IP CALDWELL. Thanks for your help

measures 27" long and about 5/8" wide. Picture included. Marking on the side read: 26-4 AA CMC 7 Please advise which parts I should order. Thanks! James

Hello Swisco, I've searched your page for the balancer I have and came up with S385-27, but I'm not too sure about the "option" you're asking for. The original balancer, from a Milgard window, shows "26-5-HV-CMC-2". It's a single pane, non-tilt window, each pane measure roughly 45"w x 29"h. ... (cont.)

Part for a sliding window has broken need one to reinstall. Windows were installed my builder Mosaic in townhouse complex.

I have a milgard single hung window that needs new balances and guides. The opening part of the window is 29" high by 31" wide. I took the old balances out a while ago and can't find them now.

We need to know which ones to order. Ours have the following numbers stamped on them: 26 5 CW CMC 10. They are 1/2 inch wide by 28 in long, including the plastic hardware.

The lenght is 27" (without attachments)

I need a couple of these window rails ASAP, the pulleys broke on one and the plastic insert is also smashed that is mounter to the window( pictured in last pic) that needs to be replace ex aswell. Rail measures 1/2 x 27" Brand of window is milgard. Thanks Craig

Good day, I need replacement balances (complete, with the plastics ends attached) to replace the ones that are broken. And yes, they all seemed to fail at the same time. Im sure I have the correct sash channel idenitfied, just need to determine weight range. Hopefully the numbers shown can help. Thank You Dennis H
