Hello Swisco, I've searched your page for the balancer I have and came up with S385-27, but I'm not too sure about the "option" you're asking for. Part for a sliding window has broken need one to reinstall. Windows were installed my builder Mosaic in townhouse complex.

I have a milgard single hung window that needs new balances and guides. The opening part of the window is 29" high by 31" wide. I took the old balances out a while ago and can't find them now.

We need to know which ones to order. Ours have the following numbers stamped on them: 26 5 CW CMC 10. They are 1/2 inch wide by 28 in long, including the plastic hardware.

The lenght is 27" (without attachments)

I would like to order the 27" Series 385 Channel Balance Product Code: S385-27 with 19-005 top attached and 15-004 Shoe attached but don't know what is the weight of the sash. I need a couple of these window rails ASAP, the pulleys broke on one and the plastic insert is also smashed that is mounter to the window( pictured in last pic) that needs to be replace ex aswell. Rail measures 1/2 x 27" Brand of window is milgard. Thanks Craig

Im sure I have the correct sash channel idenitfied, just need to determine weight range. Hopefully the numbers shown can help. Thank You Dennis H

I believe your S385-27 device will replace my broken balancer. However as you can see from the attached photos my shoe is 1-1/16" in height while the 15-004 is 1-3/32" or the 15-005 is 1" in height. If the smaller shoes is best then I need the Series 380. Would you have any comments on the best p ... (cont.)

Hi, I need some help identifying the channel balance model I need. I can't tell the diff between the S380 and S385 models; in particular the 15-005 and -004 shoe. The metal frame is stamped with "26 5 GW CMC 7". Can you help? Thanks, Jim

Based on the excellent information from your website, I believe I need to order the S385 channel balance. My only problem is that the length of the metal channel that I'm replacing is 27 1/2".
