S385-27 27" Series 385 Channel Balance

What is the correct balance tension for my windows? The sash balances have the following markings: 26 4 GT CMC 2 and 26 4 HP Caldwell. The balance appears to be a 27" Series 385 Channel Balance Product Code: S385-27 Thanks.

This is for a Milgard window. The length is 33" and the channel width is 1/2". The window weighs 24 pounds. I think I need the 33" Series 385, but I am unsure which option to choose. Please confirm. I think the replacement balancer for me is the 27" series 385, S385-27, option 2640. The bottom shoe mic at 1.075, maybe some wear?? With the pics I sent is that your recommendation? Thank you for your time and help

Sash weighs 22 lbs and size is 33.5" wide by 29.5" tall. Balance is 0.5" wide by 17" tall. Shoes are like S351. S351-17 seems like the closest fit, but I don't see an option for a 22 pound sash....?

I ordered 8 of these and they are exactly the right configuration and size etc. But when I put them in they break. Am I doing something wrong? The string pulls out and one of the wheels breaks. it is 5/8" wide by 1 1/2" long by 3/8" tall. As you can see from the picture that the to stop is broke. I looked through your parts and didn't see a match. This is off a milgard vinyl window. I'm going to order the S385-27 balance if this helps. Thanks Keith

I have a balance with markings 26 DS 45 PT BSI. The metal channel measures 27" by 9/16". The window measures 27" tall by 50" wide and is very heavy, Maimi-Dade code hurricane impact version.
