We are trying to find the latch that fits in the hole. The window 3 pic is the sideview of the same widow.

It is difficult to describe, but this is a double hung window with a latch which can be removed, so that the window can be tilted inwards, into the house for cleaning of the outside of the window. I have an aluminum Traco window. The bottom sash operates. The top sash appears to be somewhat fixed, but it does appear to have a release button on each side on the top the same as the bottom sash. It also appears to have pivot shoes of the same type the bottom sash has. The right hand shoe is ... (cont.)

I was tilting my window when this piece fell off. It's the piece that I hold open with my thumbs to release the tilt. Can I just replace this part without replacing the entire latch? Thx!
