My parents 1980 condo has the original handle but the replaced the lock/striker in the door frame for a doggy door unit. Now I'm needing to put door lock back, HELP! Need complete locking kit.

Can you please let me know if you have a replacement for this part...it goes on the wall side of the sliding frame and it is to lock the door in place

The lock works, it is the latch on the jamb. A thin strip of the aluminum jamb runs parallel to the door it had some type of catch attached to it that fit into the door opening. The standard jamb mounted catches art to wide for the opening in the door and cannot be modified to work ... (cont.)
