The thumb latch is broken. Don't know if I need the whole handle or just a latch. It is a putty color which seems hard to find.

I think thumb extension should be flat. Picture looks like someone bent it up or out from the door frame. Finish is bronze, maybe brass?

I order the opposite side door lock lever i order 2 of the 82-252 and wont work can i exchange.

It stopped working. Had it removed to measure for replacement. Once it was out the latch worked fine. it works out of door but once handle is secured interior door handle blocks thumb latch. thumb latch must be bent out of shape since 1981.
