Your #180 coil balance rated at 8 pounds . When uncoiled how long is the spring, I'm trying to determine how much travel the sash will have.

I am looking for replacement parts. I need the tilt sash lock in the photos and also the correct coil spring. The pivot shoe holds the coil and can be reused. See photos. I'm trying to help a neighbor repair a window spring which is broken. I think the company who made the spring has gone out of buisness. I think it might be invision.
