Hello, I need to replace this part. My window no longer stays open. As soon as I lift the window it goes right back down

I have several silver line double hung windows that need these coil balancers replaced. There is a number 8 stamped on the bottom part and a number 7 stamped on the top of the part. Is this a part that you could identify and replace?

One of my window sashes doesn't stay in place and keeps sliding down. These windows were replaced before I got the place and have no markings for the manufacturer or the coil mechanism. Hello, My window is missing this small tension spring that keeps the window up in the channel. Do you have anything similar to this. Sorry I don't know the make of the window, my father had them installed about 19 years ago

The left coil spring has 8 FE stamped on it, and the window balance has 8L on it. So I would need both coil springs and window balance for both sides.

I have a window where both coil balances assemblies are broken. One of the mounting brackets are missing and both tilt latches are not functional. The only number I see on the removable coil is JD8 and see PAT 5,353,548.

I cannot figure out how to release the sash from the balance. Can you provide instructions? I've watched several of your videos, but none apply to this type.

There is a number 9 on the plastic housing. The coil attaches to the white hardware in the picture. The dimensions are on the sketch. The sash weighs 16 lb. There is currently no cutout to remove the plastic hardware. Does the same hardware work on both sides of the window? Or are they right and ... (cont.)

Hi, I have a Redibuilt by Survivor 7100 series window that will not stay up. I am aware that Survivor windows are no longer available.
