Hello, I bought American Craftsman windows series 8500 from Home Depot in 2006. The spring broke. I cut out a space and removed the pivot shoe, I have two coil housing pivots 15-087 (going to replace both side while I'm at it). The original coil housing pivot has 8 stamped on the side. We had a window company come out to look at why our single hung 610 series window is hard to open and close. He stated our balancers need replaced. I need assistance selecting the correct replacement for a double-hung vinyl residential window balancer. The original balancer has no markings other than a #8 on the balancer housing, there are no markings on the coil. The measurements of the double coil balancer is 4 x 1-1/4".

Left toilet spring balance the cartridge looks like it is in tact the spring is broken a few inches from the upper sash holder which has 2 prongs that held the spring which has 2 holes.
