26-178 Neutral Handed Top Tilt Latch, 2-5/16"

hi -- this looks to be a tilt dash for an aluminum double hung window. Seems to measure 2-3/8 center to center but maybe it's really 2-5/16.

The windows are from "Champion Window". This company told me that the windows are of industrial grade (sold to a real-estate developer) and about 20 years old. The company cannot provide the parts. We are looking for some tilt latches to replace broken ones on older Windows. Screw holes are 2.25 inches center to center; latch is 3.5 inches long and 1.25 inches wide. The nose is 0.5 inches. Please let us know if you can identify this latch and if you have any. Thank you,

Appears that I need 26-178. Do not understand word "neutral". Also, how are they reversible if they do not come in left and right hand side?

I'm looking to replace these latches. I don't see an exact match on your site and i need help. I think the total length of the hardware is 3". Melanie

I have another part I am trying to match. I think I found it on your web site, but there are a lot of options and I want to be 100% on this. I have attached photo. Since you will probably ask, the screw holes are 2-1/4" apart. I don't know if it's R/H or L/H. Thanks!
