I'm looking for a door strike for a Larsen storm door that was purchased at Menards. Its about 7" tall and has a latch for both the door close and a lock Hoping you can help.

I have read a few of the other posts on this topic, so I know I can drill a hole in yours to accommodate my 6 inch spread. But I am wondering what the distance between the latch holes is. I think I need 1 1/4 inch. Thanks Gary

This latch is is good working order, so I do not wish to replace it. However, I am missing the striker place. I haven't found a model number on the latch nor on the door itself. If possible, I would like to purchase a strike plate that will work with this latch. Thank you, T. L. Schwab ... (cont.)

The 40-197 dimensions are close - right width but longer overall. What is missing in the measurements for the 40-197 are the dimensions of the plate openings, distance apart (between the two openings) and distance from the end to the edge of the first opening. Do you have this handle mechanism? I think it's a Wright, but not sure. The storm door is 20 years old and mfr. name is not on it.
