The tang inside the thumb lock has broken. I was able to get sliding glass door unlocked using a flat blade screwdriver; mechanism is working fine, just a broken thumb latch. Is it 82-107 replacement? Thanks Barry Melbourne Beach FL

The locking latch lever on my Jeld-Wen patio door handle broke and it is not under warranty anymore. JW was not much help in finding a replacement.

Hi, I ordered and received this replacement latch kit. I was able to use it with the old stem. The new stem (key) was too long because this is a keyed door. Do you have a kit with a shorter stem? I'm not sure if the old stem will last. Thanks, Bill.
