Sliding glass door handle plate.
The plate under the handle is broken. It is a casted part and has two bosses that go into the door and then the screws go through to tighten the part of the handle that is on the outside. The boss broke off and I cannot torque down the screw. Is there a replacement part available or do I need to ... (cont.)

Need replacement lock and handle for sliding door

Convert to keyed entry
I have a Newcastle XT CertainTeed sliding glass door/handle mechanism and I want to convert to keyed entry. Is there a solution for that? What parts do I need? Can a semi-handy person like myself install the replacement?

My handle broke on my sliding glass door. I took a photo of the sticker on the door identifying the model and make. The handle itself only says made in New Zealand on it nothing more. The screws for the handle are 5" on center, not the normal 3" or so that seems to be standard now. I'm guessing this ... (cont.)
