I would like to replace the attached tilt latch and I am unable to find a replacement.

I have certainteed windows purchased in 1995. I have been told today by certainteed the part numbers are 86121,86131 and 86141. I have 16 double hung windows I would like to replace all the tilt latch assemblies. the windows are white. Can you please verify the parts I need and advise price and ... (cont.)

Hi, Can't find the parts I need for a Certainteed Replacement window. The little vinyl tabs/feet? have broken off (except one) that attach it to the sash. See pictures below. Technically there are three parts for each left and right latch if you include the spring. If you do not have them ... (cont.)

Picture of latch on right side. Picture on left shows where latch to be installed - it's 3 inches and I didn't see that as an option. Don't care if it's CertainTeed as long as it fits. Need the pair.

It looks like in the second photo these have a hole made for an installation screw. Is that correct? If so what screw should I use and is it self tapping or do I need to pre-drill? I ask because two of these latches had the tab inserts break. I don't think they are a long term solution for attac ... (cont.)

I have the CertainTeed top tilt latch, your part number 26-317. The thumb slider sits about 3/32" off the surface of the latch, because of the length of its mounting posts. I'm afraid these will break off or get lost. Do you have an alternative?

The photos are of a CertainTeed window swing latch. The approximate dimensions of the latch are 3.5" long x 13/16" wide x .75" thick. It has two prongs on the bottom to snap into the window. There is one mounting hole on it.

Hello - I need two right window tilt latches an done left. I have attached a picture of the whole window and am existing tilt latches and missing.

This is the tab on the top right and left side of the window that opens and allows the window to be pulled inward. The part number is 8615X7

I want to buy top tilt latch 26-317. From looking at my window, I can't figure out how I would replace the latch. Is there a place where I can see some instructions on how to do this? Thanks!
