38-036 Rear Mount Casement Lock, 2-1/2"

I have four windows like this in my new home's patio. However, three of them are missing these locks. I have uploaded a picture of the window with one lock open and one closed. I can't find any manufacturer or numbers. Any help is appreciated!!

Had windows installed in 1988. Great windows have them for 28yrs. Selling home and one window has a handle that snapped,the one in middle of window.Its the one that you have to pull up before you crank open the window. latch will not lock in place. looks to us that the opening is not wide enough.

I am trying to identify and order this white window locking latch.It is similar to 38-036 It is white rectangular with rounded corners on the base . Please email back its getting cold.

It's a piece of plastic that locks the locking handle in to place. As you can see it broke and now the handle won't lock.

Sirs: 2 questions: My broken lock measures 2.5 in. between screw holes. Will 38-036 serve as a replacement? I need a handle that will fold out of the way of my shade. Will the 39-205 fit on the operator in the picture? Would the 39-107FK be a better choice? Thank you. PF

I just ordered this product - 38-036. There are no threads inside the screw hole so the screws do not hold in the product. How are we supposed to install this so it stays put?

Sash lock of some sort, for a crank out window. Looking for manufacturer, anything to identify.

Hello not sure if you can help but I need to replace some casement locks on my windows. They were made in the 90s and crack than break since there plastic. The frame breaks the middle part that does all the work is metal it's o.k. Measurements are about 3 1/4 by 1/2 by 3/4 in height . Thanks B ... (cont.)

Mesurment of part is 3" x .75" depth is 1.5".

Our casement window lock seems to resemble both your 38-036 and your 38-078. Please tell us which one substitutes for our current lock.

We need replacement lock handles for bow windows. They are 7/8" x 3"

The lock handles on our casements windows have broken in half. The markings on the window sash say "Virep-89" Do you carry these handles? Thank you. John Ranieri
