I'm looking for replacement latches that will work with my PGT windows. I have many of these casement windows and the plastic latches have become brittle. I contacted PGT and they offer no solutions. Can you suggest a suitable replacement?

The only number on the part is US PAT 4.674.777

The38-036 casement window lock looks very close to the locks that i currently have. I too have the same Pat# 4,674,777 on the body of the lock. Contacted Harvey Windows for replacement lock for kitchen casement window and they referred me to you folks, as they no longer have it. It looks like the 38-036 will work to replace what I have here. Two question though: If I add the two measurements you show (1/4" + 5/8" = 7/8") from back of trim flange to tip of locking arm, this total is 7/8".
