My house was built in 1981. Not sure if these are the original windows or not as I also have Andersen casements in the house too. The identifying number on the back of the latch is 40226. It measures 2.5' by 3".

The latch doesn't fully close. You can push it closed but it pops open again.The other window has to be pushed closed from the outside and since it's on the 2nd floor and separated from another window ( that opens) by a window that's fixed, so it's a bit dangerous trying to close it. The only marking on the window latch is what appears to be the letter 'T'. The house was built in 1978, and I believe the windows and hardware are original to the house. Has a stamp of R2 on inside, back side. The pc (handle) that unlocks mechanism broke off.

Have four windows with this. None work- each for a different reason. Some just open, some just close, but not do both. No markings or labels other than symbol on hand crank end.
