I've purchased and received a Pella Screen Door Flush Bolt 40-014, but don't want to break the small tabs at the top end trying to force the part into the opening of the door. Do you have instructions on how to do this? The metal gauge just fits into the gap between the part and the tabs, but at the ... (cont.)

I have a patio slider door six feet tall by five feet wide. The brand is Jeld-Wen. I would like to be able to lock the door and open with a key from the outside. Stamped on the hardware is Entry Gard TRUTH and 20544.

This window latch was broken when we moved in but I can find any manufacturer info on the window. Any help finding a replacement part would be greatly appreciated!
