On several windows the springs aren't attached. It appears that the part that connects the spring to the piece the windows locks into has broken. I've included an image of what a complete one looks like.

this model 27" Series 385 Channel Balance Product Code: S385-27 looks close, however the actual length is 28" See Attached. also the stamp number is 27C

I am currently replacing hinges on kitchen cabinet doors. I cannot find hinges that match the holes on the door. We had Marvin windows installed in new home 1981. Several have to be propped open with a stick. They are block and tackle. Marvin no longer offers parts for this year.
