The window would not open nor close. Removing the mechanism revealed the threads were stripped and the auger type screw has a fracture on the end.

Please help me identify these 1/2" spring balance: I believe these are S385 balances as the bottom shoe appears to be the 15-004 as it is 1-3/32" deep. One of the 27" long channels is marked 26 5 LN CALDWELL The other 27" long channel is marked 26 4 JN CALDWELL The 21" long channel is marked 20 ... (cont.)

The coil spring balance on the right side of the vinyl tilt-in bottom window is broken. Can the coil spring be replaced? Do I have to replace the bottom pivot shoe and/or the upper spring holder? Not sure how to remove the pivot shoe - might need to remove the bottom track cover 1st? Any help is ... (cont.)

The tongue on the lever that goes into the locking mechanism collapsed back into the level and stopped making adequate contact with the locking mechanism. I tried to pull it out and it actually came out all together. The level is very loose, it must have had a bushing or similar thing that is now ... (cont.)

We need these replacement parts with handles for two left side windows and two right side windows. Where the handles insert into the windows, all sides are stripped. Please advise and give us ordering information. Chris

Need coils, shoes covers, basically the whole balance assembly. Window is a Simonton Prism double hung installed in 2004. I think it's the Bronze. Thanks for helping me track these down. Bill

Patio door has handle but the other side of door is missing the insert that the handle goes into to lock patio. What's this part called and can you order this part?

The sliding glass door is old I don't see any markings. But I measured between the screws and it's 4 inches. Based on your website looks like it would be a 3-15/16". When I open my window, it springs up quickly to a certain point, usually 4-8 inches from where it was. Does it need a new balance, is the spring too powerful. The window may weigh 5-6lbs maybe. But the channel length is 24.
