This piece has a round interior that the strings run through. The end has a round clip that you can hook the spring to. As you can see it's deteriorated from the sun.

The number marked on these balances is 2220B. I noticed on the description of this balance that it is 21" long but mine is 21 1/2" long. All of the balances in the house have numbers matching your descriptions but all of them are 1/2" longer than you're descriptions. HELP!

We installed these windows in my wife's green house. Some of the black plastic pieces are broke. One aluminum arm is broke also. I will buy either way loose plastic or with arm attached. I see the 17 " Swisco 385 Channel balance is close to the replacement channel balance I need but the shoe is different as is the length of the original installed which measures at 17.5 inches, please advise if Swisco has a replacement part available.
