all of my larger windows have broken/missing balances. I can identify that they appear to be crossbow balances by the parts that I have. my question is this: can you determine the length of the balance you need by the size of the window? my large window is 37"W x 58"H. I need replacement part for an older aluminum, single pain window. If the part is not available is there some way to do a retrofit?

This is a non-tilt window . I can barely see the numbers stamped on but it looks like it?s 13 BS1 or 13 b51. Not sure what part to order . Can I replace a plastic take out clip with the metal take out clip

I have a 20-year old Anderson double hung window (each sash measures 36" wide and 27" high) in which both sash balances have failed. The part number of the old sash balance is 11600R-2. On your web site, one of the postings said that the replacement for the 11600R-2 is the 24-531. So I ordered two o ... (cont.)

Here are pics of the hook or bracket that I need to replace. It attaches the rail to back of the face of the drawer. It's a Grass side mount rail and says "unigrass 6000" on the metal slides.

This pin usually has a spring on it and goes through the frame of a screen in awning windows. The windows have no identifying marks on them but were installed around 1986 - the double-hung windows installed at the same time are Mastic.
