What is the proper way to install model#39-538. You provide rivets with these, but can I snap them over the existing rivets? Are the new rivets made of stainless or aluminum? Do you think I can use a C-clamp to compress them?

The window glazing was damaged by hail. Glazing trim is white in color. I have a manufactured home and do not know the window manufacturer/model of the window.
