This is out of a very large mid century sliding glass door. I just moved into a house & this door was removed & swapped out with a 50/50 nasty fake French look slider & now has a 3" step to go over & only opens about 24". Window is made by BSF. The balance is 28"long, channel is 1/2". The only markings I can find are 27 3. The first few pictures show the black plastic piece that broke that holds the balance in place. I have all wood casement windows that I assume were installed when my house was built in 1947. They don't have cranks, and it doesn't look like they ever did. Can I install cranks on them, and if so, what kind of information would I need to find the correct parts?
