The alum window bottom sash has a hollow (three sided) (open towards the bottom) channel running along the bottom. I'm confused as to whether the window lock pictured, 38-054, is RH or LH. In other pictures, cam handles, etc. with the handle on the right side are marked RH. I need to order this part. It is the piviot pin or bar that goes in the bottom of a vinyl sash. The actual pin is (5/16") across. The body of the part is (2 1/4") long and (7/16") thick.
