The hole spacing for the bracket is the 5-1/4" top to bottom. The operator link arm is 2-3/8". Are tilt latches fairly universal? I have internal latches that I'd like to replace with surface mounted tilt latches. As long as the latch isn't wider than the sash should they function properly? Just want to double check before I drill holes into the sash. Thank you!
