The spring is broken. Do we need to replace the whole part or just the spring? If we need to replace the whole piece how does the part actually connect to the window?

I need to replace the wheels on my sliding glass door. It is not clear how to remove/install the wheels...I removed the door and looked into the existing wheel assembly and I can see the bottom tip of a screw coming through the assembly, but it's not clear how to get to the screw head. They are 3" long, from the wide tip the first hole is 1.425" and the second hole is 2.425" away.
