Found a part number 40941-A

Door will no longer lock. The handle will not lift. The house was built in 1999. Feeling like we probably need a new locking mechanism?

My windows are probably from the 1980's and the little black part on the bottom that you push in to keep the window in place and from falling is broken. I'm wondering if you have this part that I can order. I need to keep a bar in the window when it's open to prevent it from falling down. Thank you ... (cont.)

Hello, I am trying to replace these spiral balances in my windows. To be sure my windows do not tilt open. I'm needing to figure out how to detach the balance from the bottom part of the window as well as identify the proper spiral balance for replacement. The balance appears to be 3/8" in width a ... Hi?see pics for model/serial number. Need the attachment hardware for the crank mechanism for where it attaches at bottom of window. Also need the left and right side hinged support hardware (?). The bottom of the 't' is 3/16". The top of the 't' is 7/16 ? the bulb is 5/16 high. This is from a silveline double hung approx Circa 1994. Please let me know if you need additional information. This weather stripping is on the bottom sash where it meets the sill.

The part is 28" long the stamp on the part is 2790 and 30 there's also a an AG and 8.51 stamped between the 2790 and 30. I don't know the weight of the sash I'm hoping one of the numbers in the stamp would denote the weight. Both balances are destroyed and it appears the take out tabs are missing ... (cont.)
