The lock on my casement window broke.In the process of opening the window which was locked shut, the rubber weather stripping was damage and needs to be replaced, but I am not sure what to order. Thank you for your videos on repairing older windows! While we think we can do it ourselves would you know of any servicemen in our area? Also, our windows are very drafty. I read that putting 2 sashes on each window will help with this. What is your opinion please?

Hi I don't have any numbers or anything listed it's pretty old.

I think there is a faint 60 as the first marking on the channel. There are no other markings or engravings on the channels. I need this info asap, I will try and call. Thank you.

The lock popped and cannot operate handle from the outside. I cannot get the lock to stay in the handle.

One of the tension cords in our window has shredded and then broke. The piece inside the window with the spring has the following stamp on it: 20 4 EP CALDWELL. Hi there, I need help replacing a broken window channel balance. It's marked as a 26 - 4 BSI PR. It has winged fittings that measure 1-3/32" depth, and the bottom fitting has a pulley inside.
