Operator shaft piece isn't able to close the window. It can pick up the gears to open the window but just rotates on closing. It looks a little striped. Is there anyway I can just replace the shaft piece? The screws attaching the dual arms to the window look almost impossible to reach unless the who ... (cont.)

I have a mechanism that needs replacing (left and right sides). When closing the windows the pinion gear pushes out. I'm not sure if you can read it from the attached picture but it is a Truth mechanism. The wheel that the arm attaches to is a 30842L and the arm that comes off that is a L30841. The ... (cont.)

Window # is D326 89 Y27B2 # on one of the crank arms was 177D This is a rental apartment and I don't have the skill to take these out/apart. But would like to know if you might be able to ID the crank handle and arms so i can replace them. thank you. Tom
