Pivot shoe substitute
I have aluminum windows which use the pivot shoe like your part number 15-045. 3/8x1x1-7/8" Many problems with spiral sash balance coming loose from the pivot shoe; it's a poorly designed shoe. Is there any other shoe from a different manufacturer that will substitute?

What pivot shoe do I have?
I have attached a picture of my pivot shoes that I need to replace. Most of them are broken and will most likely replace them all to be on the safe side. The shoe (which also has a 200/574 stamp on it as mentioned above) seems to match the 15-045 model. They have the same measurements. My spiral ... (cont.)
