Hello- I can not find any manufacturer information or labels anywhere on my windows. They are aluminum frame, single-hung tilt windows. Spiral balances- The balances have a snap on cover over the metal tube of the balance. The metal balance tube is approximately .380" diameter and 29" long fr ... (cont.)

I bought the pivot bar that fits this 15-045 shoe (perfect fit) and some new balances. My balances keep popping out of the shoe as well. I thought it could be a problem with the shoe, but all four balances do the same thing (the old ones popped out too, and were a bit tight, so I bought new ones thi ... (cont.)

i need a pivot shoe. i saw on line, 15-045. this looks same as mine, but mine is 2 1/4 high, this one is 2" high. does that make a difference. Also, i probably need the jamb spreader, but it is expensive. any alternative. do you rent them?

Need to replace spiral balance and correpsonding pivot shoe. Balance is 29 inches long and approx. 3/8 diameter. Seems to have a white or very light green tip. I have aluminum windows which use the pivot shoe like your part number 15-045. 3/8x1x1-7/8" Many problems with spiral sash balance coming loose from the pivot shoe; it's a poorly designed shoe. Is there any other shoe from a different manufacturer that will substitute?

I am repairing my tilt windows. Everything went fine except, the old pivot shoe bar is just a little too big for the 15-045 shoe. the old bar is 3" long - 15/16" wide - 1/8" high. I am thinking of new bars???

Hi, I'm completely stumped. I have a pretty generic (unmarked) vinyl window in my house that had come completely disconnected from the pivot lock shoes. When I pull down on the left pivot shoe and let go it will stay down it fly's back up. Why is this and how do I fix this problem. Thanks for your help, Vicki
