I order a spiral bal and pivot shoe 28" 900/ and it recommend a 3/8 think shoe well shoe was to narrow 15-045 ( tilt window) I'm looking at my old one it measure 1 1/4w ,1/2 thick,and 2" long and there is some blue on it. Hi I am having problems keeping my Carefree windows up and I need to find the parts. It seem that their are two components one is a spiral tensioning spring and the other is a white plastic rectangular part the pivot shoe holding the window and the spiral tension spring in place. I have old tilt windows and need pivot shoes for the top tilt windows. I did replace the pivots on the bottom window with 15-118 pivots. would the top pivots be the same? I have a broken pivot from the top window it has 200/574 on it and a 4. thanks

See attached photo. There are no identifying labels or stamps on the aluminum windows from approximately 1985. The sash is single strength insulated glass and is 22.5" w x 26" tall. This is from a Better-Bilt window. The 'pin' is in the bottom channel and slides into the Pivot Lock Shoe- part #15-045 (which is also broken). Do you carry this? Length is 2 1/4", Thickness is 1/4", Height is 3/8"

Hello. I purchased four pivot lock shoes in error, and now I'd like to make sure I'm ordering the correct item. Here's a picture (attached}. I measure it at 1"x1 15/16" x 3/8" which seems to match 15-045. Thanks in advance. -Gary

How to replace pivot shoe. It looks like there is no easy way with a tilt window system. I just ordered pivot bars from you item #26-297,thank you perfect. but i have more problems, The spiral balance keeps popping out of the shoe,can you help?

I have windows that use 15-045 pivot shoes. The spiral balancewill not stay in the shoe. As soon as I operate the window the window they pop out?????

It looks like I need the 900 Series replacement balances. However the color of the tip on the current balances is yellow which is not one of your choices. These are aluminum tilt windows with 26-193/4 type tilt latches and the 15-045 pivot shoes. The original balances have wound steel as the slee ... (cont.)

I made the mistake of measuring my balances without removing the vinyl covering first, and it led me to believe that I needed 29" instead of 30" replacement balances.
