I have 30 yr old metal windows with spiral balances. A couple of them will open ok, but with such a loud sort of "sproing" spring sound that I don't open/close during the night for fear of waking neighbors. Hello I need help identifying a replacement window

Hello, I am trying to locate balancers for an aluminum single hung, it has a metal cylinder spiral balancer and a plastic piece the sash pivots in that has broken. The windows are approximately 3'x4' Please advise!

There are no numbers located on any parts. The rod is 28" from metal to metal. There is a color tip on one end, appears to be orange but could be faded red. 'The windows are old aluminum windows installed new in new construction in 1980.

Hi, I've attached a picture of one of my good shoes (for reference) and a pic of my broken shoe. I cannot find the manufacturer anywhere on the window as windows are probably 40-50 yrs old at this point. Do you happen to have a replacement shoe?
